The Argentine was linked with a move away from the club this summer but nothing materialized as of yet though that can now change.
Manchester United are holding talks with Fenerbahce over a deal for Marcos Rojo.
According to Turkish newspaper Fanatik, the Super Lig runners-up are hoping to agree on a loan move for the Argentinian international who has fallen out of favor.
It’s understood Rojo has fallen down the pecking order at United with Jose Mourinho considering him to be the most dispensable of his defenders.
Rojo has dropped behind United defenders Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Eric Lindelof in the pecking order so he is not expected to play much this campaign.
The 28-year-old made only 12 appearances in all competitions last season.
He was not even named in the squad for United’s opener against Leicester City.
